Meet the Staff
After graduating from the University of Alabama in 1953 with a degree in civil engineering, Mr. Saliba returned home to Dothan and decided to stay the course, founding ASC in 1956 with a 1,200 square-foot home. In addition to the challenges of business, community involvement, and leading the way to industrial development and retention all provided additional fulfillment and gratification. Mr. Saliba has had the opportunity to directly serve through his past and present involvement with the following organizations:
Mr. Saliba was also instrumental in founding the Alfred Saliba Family Services Center (1993) and the Family Health Clinic (2001). In recognition of Mr. Saliba's dedication to business excellence and giving back to the community, he has been the recipient of many awards:
Although Mr. Saliba takes his life's work seriously, he places even more emphasis on family. Mr. Saliba married that former Henrietta Carpenter in 1955. They have three children and are the proud grandparents of nine grandchildren. Mr. Saliba attends Evergreen Presbyterian Church, where he actively serves as a Sunday School teacher, elder, and trustee.
Fred is a devoted husband and father to his wife, Dale, and his three children: David, an Associate Pastor at First United Methodist Church of Montgomery, Laura, a CPA in Birmingham at the accounting firm KPMG, and Rachel, who is a senior at Houston Academy. He and his family attend Covenant United Methodist Church, where Fred is currently serving as Finance Chairman, serves on the building committee, and has taught junior and senior high Sunday School for over 12 years.
Mark has served on the board of the Dothan/Wiregrass Home Builders Association since 1988, and spent two terms as its President in 1993 and 1994. As a local delegate, Mark began his involvement with the Home Builders Association of Alabama in the early 90's. He served as the 2006 President of HBAA. His community involvements include being Chairman of the Board at Houston Academy, board member of Eufaula Chamber of Commerce, and previously serving board members of Hawk-Houston Boys Club and Dothan Chamber of Commerce. Mark is married to Angie Bracken Saliba and is the proud father of three children: Ben, Abby, and Eli.
Cory Hobbs, Operations Manager Cory joined ASC in 2007. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University. Prior to joining ASC, Cory worked in industrial and commerical construction as a manager. He also served in the U.S. Navy on a nuclear submarine. Cory is in charge of all aspects of the day-to-day operations of ASC, including the management of personnel, resources and projects. He is married to Kelly and has three children. Roger has been with ASC for over 25 years. He has been involved in nearly every area of ASC and has over 30 years of construction experience in residential construction, remodeling, and commercial construction. Roger is in charge of all production and works in conjunction with our supervisors to ensure quality is built in to every detail and each stage of construction. He is in charge of and responsible for new residential construction sales. Tommy has been handling sales since 1993. He is a native of the Dothan area and believes in community involvement, such as supporting the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce. Tommy brings a wealth of experience, including his knowledge of the community and the ability to spot opportunities for housing growth. Nick Tedder, Head of Drafting An expert draftsman, he offers nearly 40 years of experience in custom home design. Nick managed a local drafting agency for twelve years before joining ASC in 1980. His known for drawing buildable and livable plans, considering the needs of everyone, from the framer to designer. Nick is also a versatile designer with an eye for the modern and old world charm. Brandon Price, Director of Purchasing Brandon joined ASC in 2005. He graduated from Auburn University with a degree in finance, and worked in sales prior to ASC. Brandon's number one job is to control cost, which helps to ensure affordable, competitive home prices. He and his wife, Jamie, welcomed a new baby boy named Will in December. Lori Jordan, Controller/Office Manager Lori has been a vital part of ASC since 1998. She is in charge of all company finances and insurance. Larry Holland, Supervisor Larry joined ASC in 1993 and has over 40 years of construction experience.

Melissa Pierce, Designer Melissa holds a Bachelor of Interior Design from Louisiana State University, and was certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification in 1994. Katie Stone, Design Intern Katie graduated with a degree in Interior Design from University of Georgia in 2009. She joined ASC in 2009 and provides support in all areas of ASC.
